As adults, one of the first things we do when a child says that they are not feeling well is to check their temperature. So too it is in our organisations.
As a facilitator, one of my strategies is arriving at least 15mins early for meetings. It allows me the opportunity to see staff interact with each other and if I am really fortunate, to also witness the staff’s interaction with their managers and the CEO. For me this is equally as informative as any report that is shared, or the company’s balance sheet and other operational statistics. As a Business Intuitive, the “warmth” of these interactions sends a signal to me as to the organisation’s willingness and ability to innovate.
In today’s economic climate, what is the temperature of your organisation saying? Does your high performance team need to ramp up their performance? Do they need to go beyond technical rhetoric to providing innovative solutions that can be taken to the market place as instant revenue earners? Do you need to increase productivity through new solutions to perennial issues?
Join me for a Time Out …….. the intentional cessation of an incomplete task, as together we discover the untapped knowledge in your organisation and use the collective knowledge to drive organisation performance.
