If you chat long enough with Judy, at some stage of the discussion, the importance of being still and reflecting will surface in the conversation. It is hard to imagine that someone who exudes such passion and energy actually takes time out daily to sit still for 20mins twice a day. However Judy would be the first to admit that her daily meditative practice has contributed to her success with her organisational development interventions. Clients continually express surprise at her ability to engage workshop participants in open and honest discussions, on highly contentious interpersonal and organisational issues, while she contains a relaxed and respectful climate in the room. The duality of her persona is exposed as she convulses into spontaneous laughter, bringing elements of fun into her strategic planning leadership development and team building sessions. Her energy is contagious, so do not be surprised if you succumb and find yourself and your team mates working into the wee hours to complete a workshop assignment, so that you are able to spend the next day in introspection and reflection :-)
